Emma Flynn is a writer, yogi, nutritionist, world traveler, & activist based in Bend, Oregon.

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin with a BA in Journalism, Emma spent three years as a solo female traveler, journeying across five continents & 40+ countries in search of deeper connections with people, cultures, & herself.

Her experiences on the road, from meditating in ashrams in India to being mugged in Mongolia & providing hurricane relief in the Caribbean, have taught her to navigate the unfamiliar with an open heart & shaped her perspective on presence, resilience, & the delicacy of our planet.

As a certified yoga instructor & nutritionist, Emma approaches life with curiosity, intention, & a deep respect for the connection between mind, body, & nature.

Now based in Bend, Oregon, she continues to explore the balance between movement & rootedness, adventure & reflection, seeking meaning in the vastness of the world & the quiet spaces in between.

The personal teachers she holds dearest are her Yiayia (late grandmother), Sean (brother), Ben (husband), & Cooper (dog). For yoga, Rod Stryker, Janet Stone, & Jason Crandell. Her most influential dharma teachers include Baba Ram Dass, Thich Nhat Hanh, Jack Kornfield, & a kind, curious Indian man who was astonished when she told him that trains in America almost always leave on time.
